Danny Vincent, me, a lifelong woodworker, commercial fisherman, cabinetmaker, and dedicated builder of fine acoustic guitars in the breathtakingly beautiful Powell River British Columbia.
After spending years fishing the amazing waters of British Columbia and building cabinetry in the off-season, guitar building began as a side pursuit driven by a deep love of music and craftsmanship. What started as a passion project more than 15 years ago gradually evolved into a serious dedication to the art of luthiery.
As a longtime guitar player myself, I build instruments with a player’s ear and a craftsman’s attention to detail. My focus is simple: exceptional tone, responsiveness, and flawless craftsmanship. I believe the finest guitars begin with the finest materials, and I am relentless in sourcing outstanding tonewoods from trusted places and people. Living and working among some of the world’s most beautiful forests and coastlines has only deepened that connection to wood and sound. I build in the traditional style, paying homage to the amazing luthiers that paved the way for us.
Every guitar is built with the belief that great instruments should inspire the person holding them — rich in tone, alive in the hands, and made to last for generations.
I believe great guitars should be made affordable to all. Music makes the world a better place. If you’re unable to walk past your guitar without picking it up, mission accomplished!
